We want you to feel well looked after.
We will help you understand the German healthcare system.
We explain and translate the most important terms you will need for a visit to the doctor.
We will give you all the information you need to make the most of your visit to the doctor:
- Finding a doctor and making an appointment
- Preparing for the doctor's visit (documents, describing symptoms)
- What is covered by your health insurance?
- What other services are available (hospitals, advice centres)?

Wichtige Hinweise

Dr Judith Kouematchoua Tchuitcheu is a gynaecologist in Hamburg. She speaks German/English/French.
You can bring your children with you. We will look after them during the course. Please let us know how many children are coming. All are welcome.

Bei der VHS seit 2024

... ist in Kamerun geboren und hat in Deutschland, der Schweiz und Kenia studiert. Neben Deutsch spricht sie fließend Englisch und Französisch. Sie absolvierte eine Weiterbildung in Public Health und Tropenmedizin und arbeitete für die Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) und die WHO in Genf. Ihre Facharztausbildung in Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe absolvierte sie in Deutschland und ist seit 2010 in Hamburg niedergelassen.
